We only have 6 rooms so it’s quiet, secluded, surrounded by nature and best of all NO Crowds!
As our guest, you will enjoy amenities unlike any other. After spending a long day, relax on our huge green space around a campfire or walk among 100+ year old cedar and maple trees or kick off the boots and enjoy an evening having a barbeque in our pavilion.
Three of our six rooms are PET FRIENDLY for animals under 25 lbs for an additional $25.00 per night
(Room #’s 3, 5, and 6)
We’re located at the start of “THE FAMOUS CURVY ROAD” on the Door County Peninsula at a place called Gills Rock. Just up the road is the Washington Island Ferry that crosses the Death’s Door Passage to Washington Island. The Maple Grove was built in 1949 and was one of the first motels up here. It’s a great place to relax after a big day enjoying all that the nearby harbor towns have to offer. Restaurants, Winery’s, Cherry’s, Festivals, Art Galleries, Pottery, Outdoor Theater, Kayaking, Boating, Charter Fishing, Hiking, Beaches, Music, Clothing Shops, Quilt Shops, Biking, Marathons, and so much more! Within a short walking distance is the Island Clipper Tour Boat, Charlie’s Smoke Fish, Hedge Hog Gift Shop, Mariner’s Park and the Maritime Museum! If that’s not enough, you can walk to a fabulous restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining with a million dollar sunset view overlooking the Bay of Green Bay! Not to mention the Best Fireworks on the July 4th!
